Starting a BBQ business was always in my bones, long before “Smoke Heads BBQ” became a reality. Growing up in Los Angeles, some of my fondest memories are intertwined with the unmistakable aroma of smoked meats. My dad, a true BBQ enthusiast, would take me on adventures to various BBQ spots tucked away in the vibrant hoods of LA. Every time we stepped into those shops, the scent of smoky goodness would hit me, and it was love at first sniff. At home, any event – be it a simple gathering or a grand family celebration – was incomplete without my dad manning the grill, churning out his signature BBQ delights. Those moments not only instilled in me a deep appreciation for BBQ but also nurtured my natural flair for it. The plot twist came when I moved to Texas, a place where BBQ isn’t just food; it’s a culture. Immersing myself in the Texan BBQ traditions, I was inspired to bring together the best of both worlds. And thus, Smoke Heads BBQ was born, blending the soulful flavors of California and Texas, all mixed with an extra ingredient: pure love.
